Description
Sermorelin research peptide
Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone, the shortest fully active fragment. It is a classic reference compound for GHRH receptor research.

What Sermorelin research has examined
- GHRH receptor signalling: stimulation of pituitary growth hormone release.
- Diagnostic history: formerly used to assess pituitary GH reserve.
- Analogue comparison: benchmark for later GHRH analogues such as CJC-1295 and tesamorelin.
Research interest does not establish a proven effect in humans.
Regulatory status
A sermorelin medicine was previously approved in the US and later discontinued. The material sold here is a research chemical, not a licensed medicine, and is not approved for any use in humans. Growth hormone-releasing factors are prohibited in sport by WADA.
Storage and handling
Store lyophilised vials cold, dry and away from light. Reconstitute with a suitable sterile diluent under aseptic conditions and keep solutions refrigerated. See our peptide reconstitution guide.
